Accident investigation led to DWI arrest

On December 3, 2023, Troopers arrested Jeffrey J. Miller, age 68 of Indian Lake, NY for aggravated driving while intoxicated.

On December 3, 2023, at approximately 9:58 p.m., Troopers responded to Cedar River Road in the town of Indian Lake, for a property damage accident.  An investigation determined Miller was operating gray 2020 Jeep Compass when he lost control of the vehicle sliding off the roadway striking a utility pole.  While interviewing Miller he was showing signs of impairment.  Troopers administered SFST’s which Miller failed.  He was arrested and transported to SP Indian Lake where he provided a breath sample of .20% BAC.  He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Indian Lake Court for a later date in December.
