On June 28, 2024, at approximately 8:22 a.m., Troopers responded to St. Patrick Church, located on Patent Road in the town of Peru for a burglary complaint. An investigation determined a 14-year-old male from Peru broke a window of the church and spread wax throughout the church.
14-year-old was arrested and processed at SP Plattsburgh for burglary 3rd. He was released on a Family Court Appearance Ticket for a later date and time.
