Corporal Harold F. Myers, 42, was killed on December 19, 1950 while en-route to investigate a hit and run accident.
Corporal Myers was a passenger in a Troop vehicle when it collided with another car near Amsterdam, New York.
Corporal Myers was the first Troop G member to be killed in the line of duty since Trooper Stanley C. Greene in February 28, 1936. Corporal Myers served in the Guard of Honor during Trooper Greene's funeral.
