Civilian Hiring Unit
The Division Personnel Office - Civilian Hiring Unit is responsible for:
- The hiring, promoting, reclassifying, etc., of civilian employees. This includes:
- Posting positions
- Collecting and reviewing resumes
- Determining and evaluating appropriate minimum qualifications for vacancies
- Initiating background checks
- Onboarding new hires
- Preparing many types of correspondence
- Overseeing the State Police internship program
