Technical Sergeant Christopher P. Rock became a member of the New York State Police on March 30, 1987. He entered into disability retirement from the New York State Police after 26 years of service on September 27, 2013. On December 3, 2023, he died as a result of cancer stemming from his assignment to the World Trade Center site, following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. In response to the events of 9/11, Technical Sergeant Rock was assigned to aid with the search and recovery efforts in New York City, as part of the New York State Police Detail. Technical Sergeant Rock is survived by his wife.
