Acting Superintendent
Steven A. Nigrelli

Steven A. Nigrelli became Acting Superintendent on October 19, 2022. Acting Superintendent Nigrelli is a 32-year veteran of the New York State Police, and as Acting Superintendent, he commands more than 5,000 troopers, investigators and non-sworn support staff who provide a full range of policing and public safety services to New Yorkers and other law enforcement agencies across the state.
