Unsolved: Stolen Painting of the Virgin Mary

Basic Information: The painting of the Virgin Mary was acquired in the former Soviet Union during the early 1990's and donated to St. George's Episcopal Church in 1996.

The painting of the Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus, is on a convex wood surface and measures 10 inches x 13 inches x 1 1/2 inches thick.

It was stolen on August 20, 1998, from St. George's Church, 30 North Ferry St. Schenectady, New York (an area also known as "the Stockade section" of the city).
